Jamie Hartrich

I grew up in rural Stanford, Illinois on a farm with my parents and two younger brothers.

I attended the Olympia School district for my primary and secondary schooling. I went onto Heartland Community College as a Community Scholar and graduated with an Associates Degree in Arts. I struggled in choosing colleges, because I love the University of Illinois, but Illinois State University is known for their education department. So, I decided to attend Illinois State University and in 2000 I graduated Cum Laude with a Business Education degree. After graduation, I completed the following certifications in technology: Microsoft Office Specialist and CISCO CCNA.

God has truly blessed me with a loving husband, Brett, three wonderful children, Grace, Garrett and Gabrielle, two very supportive parents, two caring brothers, and a loving extended family.

When I am not teaching, I love to spend as much time with my family, garden, bake, play basketball or softball and watch Illini basketball.
